Regional Transportation District(RTD), Fast Tracks Project, CO
SUMMIT provides environmental services for RTD FasTracks Expansion Program in Denver, Colorado. RTD is in the process of expanding the public transit’s light rail system infrastructure throughout the Denver metro area. Light rail expansion will occur along six new rail corridors. Construction of the expansion project is scheduled to be completed by 2017. SUMMIT performs Phase I and Phase II ESAs prior to construction activities, and participates in remedial design, development and implementation of voluntary clean up applications, regulatory permitting and regulatory compliance, and contaminated soil and groundwater management.
The scope of services includes:
- Preparing and reviewing documentation related to environmental statutes
- Characterizing contaminated sites and waste streams
- Performing risk assessments
- Providing health and safety support
- Performing cost and schedule analysis
